Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the community association. The Onsite Manager is responsible for supervising all the operations of the community association. The Manager will be the main point of contact to service providers, board members, and committee members, as well as staff at the corporate office for the community. Located in Virginia.

Tasks and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Oversees the general operation of the condominium association and provides oversight of all staff if applicable and contracted service providers.
  • Communicates to the Board on a regular basis with regard to issues involving the community.
  • Enforces the Rules and Regulations of the Association as expressed and set forth in the Documents.
  • Prepares or oversees the preparation of notices, and meeting packets for all meetings of the Association and Board in a timely manner.
  • Attends monthly Board Meetings, Annual Meetings, and any Special Meetings as contracted.
  • Prepares RFPs and secures proposals relating to day-to-day operations. Provides recommendations to the Board for their consideration.
  • Oversees and ensures the accuracy of individual items for each unit/lot.
  • Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and updating of the reserve study projects.
  • Approves all expenditures and seeks Board approval if the expenditure is above the predetermined threshold.
  • Responds to owner inquiries and requests in a timely manner according to company standards.
  • Manages the decision-making process effectively and works with both short and long-range objectives for the association.
  • Handles after-hours emergency calls as needed.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or higher
  • Association Management experience of 2 years or more (Preferred)
  • CMCA, AMS, or PCAM if yes please specify (Preferred)
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Action and results-oriented, enthusiastic.
  • Deliver superior customer service
  • Knowledge of community association inspection process
  • Knowledge of the role of the association board of directors and how best to communicate with the ownership of the association.
  • Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Ability to keep a positive work culture fostering NRP's values and beliefs.
  • Time management and time-critical organizational skills.
