Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join our team, focusing on serving community associations in the Chicago area. This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 plus participation in our commission structure and possible annual performance bonus. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Community Association Insurance and hold an active Property & Casualty license. Candidates with additional designations such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU will be highly valued. This role is both client-facing and sales-driven, allowing you to build lasting relationships with clients while contributing to new business growth. Remote work options are available to offer flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and service a portfolio of community association clients, ensuring their insurance needs are effectively met with comprehensive solutions.
Develop new business by prospecting, identifying opportunities, and generating leads within the community association sector.
Provide expert guidance to clients on their insurance policies, coverage options, and risk management strategies.
Actively participate in the sales process, including preparing proposals, presenting coverage options, and securing new business.
Conduct regular client meetings to review coverage, ensure satisfaction, and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
Prepare and deliver renewal presentations, proposals, and certificates of insurance.
Handle client inquiries, policy changes, and claims in a timely and professional manner, offering ongoing support as needed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring high retention rates.
Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and insurance regulations to provide clients with relevant and timely information.
Achieve sales and service targets, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
Qualifications:
Active Property & Casualty license required.
Significant experience in Community Association Insurance is essential.
Strong understanding of community association risk management, insurance products, and unique coverage needs.
Sales-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and developing new business.
CIC, CRM, or CPCU designations are a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with insurance agency management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
