Job Posting: Director of Accounting (Full-Time, Hybrid - 2-3 Days in Office)
Position Overview:
The Director of Accounting is responsible for overseeing the accounting department’s operations, ensuring smooth interdepartmental coordination, and supporting organizational goals. This role involves additional responsibilities and duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues; maintain strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
- Manage multitasking priorities and work independently within established procedures, deadlines, and changes.
- Oversee client concerns regarding home closings in a timely manner.
- Facilitate and lead L-10 meetings.
- Direct operations to support business growth and financial objectives.
- Coordinate workflow within operational areas to ensure quality customer service.
- Assist with interdepartmental coordination.
- Monitor budgets and control financial performance.
- Develop and communicate operations policies and procedures.
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly financial reports for property managers.
- Reconcile financial reports and provide detailed transaction reports to property managers and board members.
- Plan and oversee Accounting Department operations and maintain systems that promote department performance.
